    Position Summary

    The Client Support Specialist acts as a frontline representative and problem-solver for clients, coordinating global logistics, sourcing supplies, and facilitating service contracts for vessels. This role requires frequent travel to naval bases, ports, ship locations, and client offices worldwide to ensure seamless execution of time-sensitive requests.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for vessel crews, operators, and clients
    • Coordinate sourcing and delivery of ship supplies, equipment, and services
    • Broker and manage vendor relationships for services such as fuel, provisions, repairs, inspections, and port services
    • Travel to domestic and international ports to support active client needs and ensure service delivery
    • Manage multiple urgent requests with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Communicate real-time updates to clients regarding orders, logistics, and service timelines
    • Troubleshoot issues on-site and coordinate rapid solutions
    • Maintain accurate documentation, quotes, and service records
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients globally

     

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills under pressure
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
    • Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including internationally and on short notice
    • Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Tasks, etc)

     

    Travel Requirements 

    • Frequent domestic and international travel (often short notice)
    • Ability to travel for extended periods depending on vessel schedules

     

    Work Environment

    • Hybrid of office, port facilities, and on-vessel environments, (working from home is discouraged)
    • Exposure to industrial and maritime settings when on-site

     

    $17 - $24 per hour (based on experience)
