Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I acknowledge that paddleboarding involves inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, injury from falls, collisions with objects, other individuals, or vessels, exposure to changing weather and water conditions, strong currents,waves, wind, submerged hazards, and the possibility of equipment failure. I understand that these risks may result in serious injury, illness, property damage, or death. I confirm that I am physically fit and have the ability to safely participate in paddleboarding activities. I agree to use proper safety equipment, including a life jacket or personal flotation device where required, and to follow all safety instructions, guidelines, and directions provided by The Snooze Scouts or its representatives.

The Snooze Scouts organizers are not certified instructors or guides. This is a casual, non-professional group. By signing this form, you acknowledge that participation in paddleboarding activities involves inherent risks and that the organizers shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or incidents arising from or related to participation in these activities. You agree that the organizers are not responsible for any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your participation, and you accept full responsibility for your own safety and actions while taking part in the activity.

Safety Rules Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that I have read and understand the safety rules provided by the organizers and agree to comply at all times during the activity. In Arizona, paddle boards (SUPs) are considered vessels, requiring at least one properly sized, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket to be on board for each person. These safety rules include, but are not limited to: checking weather, water, and tide conditions before participation; staying within designated areas and away from restricted, hazardous, or high-traffic zones; avoiding excessive use of alcohol and drugs before and during the activity; using proper paddleboarding techniques and equipment; maintaining awareness of other participants, vessels, and obstacles; and following all instructions, warnings, and directions from The Snooze Scouts or its representatives immediately and without exception.
