Designed to bring together the Fil-Am basketball community, this high-performance group training is built for serious athletes looking to elevate their game. While the program celebrates and supports our Fil-Am athletes, players of all backgrounds are welcome to participate.
These sessions are fast-paced, high intensity, and designed to replicate the speed, physicality, and decision-making of real game situations. Because of the pace and competitive environment, this program is not recommended for beginners.

High school basketball season is right around the corner. These sessions are designed to keep athletes in basketball shape, sharpen their skills, improve conditioning, and build the intensity needed to enter the season prepared. Instead of starting from scratch at tryouts or the first official practice, you'll already be training at a high level and ready to compete from day one.
🌟 Build the Right Foundation for Younger Athletes
For younger players, consistent training is one of the best ways to accelerate development. Learning proper footwork, movement, basketball fundamentals, and good habits early creates a strong foundation that will benefit them throughout middle school, high school, and beyond. Training in a competitive environment also develops confidence, discipline, work ethic, and a stronger basketball mindset.
🇵🇭 Fil-Am Nation Select Hawaiʻi Pathway
For athletes interested in earning an opportunity with Fil-Am Nation Select Hawaiʻi, these trainings provide an excellent opportunity to prepare. If selected to represent our Hawaiʻi teams at Manila Live 2027, you'll already be training at the intensity and standard expected within our program. Stay prepared, stay consistent, and be ready when your opportunity comes.
Led by Coach Donnie Dadiz
Every session will be led by Coach Donnie Dadiz, who brings 20+ years of coaching experience developing basketball players at the youth, high school, and international levels.
Coach Donnie is the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Baldwin High School, where he has been part of championship-winning teams, helping athletes develop the skills, discipline, and basketball IQ needed to compete at a high level. He also serves as the Co-Director of Fil-Am Nation Select Hawaiʻi and is the President of Maui Fil-Am Basketball, where he is dedicated to creating opportunities for local athletes to compete, grow, and proudly represent Hawaiʻi.
Internationally and on the Mainland, Coach Donnie has coached with Fil-Am Nation Select in Manila, Philippines, Toronto, Canada, Chicago and California, helping athletes compete against top-level international talent while preparing them for success both on and off the court.
Known for his high-energy practices and attention to detail, Coach Donnie emphasizes strong fundamentals, game-ready decision-making, accountability, discipline, and a competitive mindset. His goal is to develop complete players while helping every athlete maximize their potential and reach the next level.
Program Details
🗓️Training Schedule starting August 8
Group training sessions will be held:
Thursdays: 7:45 PM – 8:45 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
