HLK is a youth organization. Volunteers working with HLK program minors are required to have a background check annually and receive a short protection of minors course. HLK utilizes the Texas A&M training module and conducts its background checks through VeriFy, a non-profit based in Dallas. The background check costs $12.00 and takes about 10 minutes to intiate. Once you have submitted this form applying as a volunteer you will receive an email to complete the background check and an email and password for the youth protection training. The training takes about 20 minutes to complete and you will receive a certificate which you should email to admin@hlksailing.org

Thank you for helping us to protect our students.
I acknowledge that HLK utilizes the VeriFyi service to conduct a criminal background check for all proposed volunteers. By signing below, I request that HLK initiate a background check on my behalf.
