  • Auditions run from 5pm-9:30pm on Friday, September 25 and from 8am-6pm on Saturday, September 26.  You will be assigned a 4-minute slot sometime during these time windows.  

    Over 1,500 students from across Middle Tennessee audition for the Mid-State Choirs, so obviously it is a giant undertaking to schedule each student.  Therefore, MTVA can only honor schedule requests for school conflicts.  If you are in marching band, you should not audition on Friday since you'll have a football game.  If you are in The Lion King, Jr you should not audition Friday Early since you have rehearsal until 6pm.  Same goes for any school conflict on Saturday.  Non-school conflicts (work, church, etc) cannot be honored.

  • By signing below, we agree to the following:

    • Our child, {studentName}, will audition for the Mid-State Choirs on either September 25 or 26 at Smyrna High School;
    • We understand that we must provide transportation to and from this audition;
    • We agree to pay the $10 Audition Fee, either by cash/check brought in an envelope to school (with student's name), or by paying online on the "Pay Fees" portion of StewartsCreekChoirs.com.
    • We agree to the Stewarts Creek Policy that If I Make It, I Will Attend:
      • If Imake All-County, I will go to the event on October 26-27. Approx. cost - $20.
      • If I make Mid-State, I will go to All-County on October 26-27 and Mid-State on November 16-17. Approx. cost - $55.
      • If I make All-State, I will go to All-County on October 26-27, Mid-State on November 16-17, participate in Second Tier Auditions (an online audition at the end of October – more details to come), and (if I pass Second Tier) All-State on January 13-15. Approx cost - $245.
