  • Agreement/Terms and Conditions:

    • Room MUST be returned to pre-event configuration. Example: if room has desks in "lecture-style," but your event needs them in a circle, prior to leaving the room, you MUST return all desks to "lecture-style."
    • Room MUST be left clean.

    Prior to proceeding, requestor must view Portal calendars to assure the space is available for the date of the event. If unsure of how to do this, please contact Facilities at x7780.

  • Agreement/Terms and Conditions:

    • $250 non-refundable facility usage fee for all external events.
    • $50 for set-up of rented tables and chairs.
    • $50 per hour if IT is needed to be present during the event.
    • Room MUST be returned to pre-event configuration. Example: if room has desks in "lecture-style," but your event needs them in a circle, prior to leaving the room, you MUST return all desks to "lecture-style." Fee will incur if not.
    • Room MUST be left clean; fee will incur if not.

  • *When unlocks are requested, doors will be scheduled to be unlocked 30 minutes before the event start time and relocked 30 minutes after the start of the event.

    Additional security may be deemed necessary for the requested event at the expense of the event requestor's department. 

    As of 9/1/2024, the officer rates are:

    $41/hour with a 4-hour minimum if requested with more than 1 month of notice
    $61.50/hour with a 4-hour minimum for events requested within 1 month of the event date

  • Catering and Beverage Service Requests:

    If you chose to use our campus caterer, D'lish Catering, and order the food and beverages from them, D'lish is responsible for all set-up and clean-up from the event.

    If you chose to use an outside caterer or have food delivered, you, the event lead, will be responsible for all set-up and clean-up from the event.

    Contact purchasing@pnwu.edu or use the Purchasing Portal to place any orders for catering, delivery, pick-up, or purchase of snacks.

  • Additional Event Support

  • Alcohol use at the event requires prior approval of the University President. Please complete the Alcohol Use Form.

  • Any PNWU merchandise or swag use must be approved by MarComm and ordered through the University Purchaser.

  • All donations must be approved by the Development department. Please email Lauri Roberson at lroberson@pnwu.edu to receive approval of your donation items.

  • If you are using PNWU on any of your advertising materials, you MUST get it approved via our Communications department. Please fill out the Marketing Request Form or contact them directly.

    You must submit a "Certificate of Liability Coverage" with $1,000,000 coverage from your insurance carrier. This may be emailed to facilities@pnwu.edu or mailed to 200 University Pwky, Yakima, WA 98901, ATTN: Facilities
