Foster Application

Thank you for your interest in being a foster parent! The Foster Program is an important part of the Animal Adoption Center's mission. We learn valuable information about the dogs when they spend the night in a home; this information helps us make the best match between dog and adopter. Please consider your schedule and lifestyle before committing to being a foster parent. We appreciate honesty, consistency and reliability.

Foster dogs are required to be on leash when recreating outside. The AAC has a zero tolerance policy for dogs in our program to be off leash or unattended in a yard. If this is a rule that cannot be upheld then fostering will not be a good fit. Do you agree to keep your foster dog on leash while outdoors?*

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS AND RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

I hereby release the Animal Adoption Center from any liability of injury or illness my family, pets, or I may receive while volunteering as a foster parent for the Animal Adoption Center. I have read, understand and agree to the foster parent guidelines. I understand that any animal in my foster care is the property of the Animal Adoption Center. I understand I am no authorized to allow other people to foster or adopt out this dog to other parties. If I would like to adopt a dog, I understand I must bring the dog back to the Animal Adoption Center and apply to qualify to adopt and pay the adoption fee before I can officially adopt the dog.

I fully understand and agree to assume all risks involved in any activities that I take part in at the Animal Adoption Center and I agree to hold the Animal Adoption Center harmless for any injury(s), which I might sustain during the course of my interactions with the Animal Adoption Center.

The activities are as follows but are not limited to; interacting with dogs in the center, walking dogs, interacting with the cats in kitty city and fostering animals.

This waiver includes myself, all of my family members and descendants forever from seeking any legal action whatsoever against the Animal Adoption Center or its representatives.
