  • What is Association and Division News?

    The Association and Division News sections of the magazine contain information such as recaps of statewide events, previews of what's to come for a specific division, and many other state related items. You must be a GMEA State Officer to submit Association or Division News.

    General and feature articles are submitted by GMEA members and other members of the music community around the country. Share your thoughts and research with us by submitting an article. Please also include your photo and bio.

    We are working this year to bring back a long-aprreciated section of the Georgia Music News, the section in which we recognize job movement, promotions, and retirements.  Please share with us your celebrations.

  • In Memoriam

    Thank you for taking the time to celebrate the life of a music educator. We are thankful you wish to remind the membership of the impact this person had on the music community. Please include your article and any supporting images you wish to provide. We appreciate your submission.
