Don't forget! We need three business days lead time to process requests. All of us play a part in email creation, including building the HTML, reviewing the content, and reviewing the query. Here's a quick calendar of the earliest day you can expect us to process your request based on when you submit: Submit on Monday - Earliest Delivery Day: Thursday Submit on Tuesday - Earliest Delivery Day: Friday Submit on Wednesday - Earliest Delivery Day: Monday Submit on Thursday - Earliest Delivery Day: Tuesday Submit on Friday - Earliest Sent Delivery Day: Wednesday
Before beginning your request, read our Best Practices/Email Request Guidelines. It'll help you create a clear, easy-to-read email that's also consistent with university grammar and style standards.
Let's create your Ad Hoc Email Request!
Before we begin...
Text messages are identified by SMS technology as texts from The New School. Texts are $.10 per individual text sent, and costs will be billed to your Cost Center. People who receive our texts can't respond, because the response service costs extra $$. However, they can choose to opt out. Text messages can't be sent to international numbers.
Let's create your Text Message Request!
Don't forget! We need three business days lead time to process requests. All of us play a part in text message creation, from building the text, reviewing the content, and reviewing the filter. A few notes about the Hub!
The Admission Hub contains content requested and/or required by SEM AVPs and other administrators, Enrollment Systems, Admission Operations, and Admission Communications. Content that is essential to the application, deadlines, admitted student next steps and community building, and deposited student next steps and requirements are given priority over all other content requests. Content is also prioritized based on space limitations and ephemerality. Whenever appropriate, we will create or choose a graphic to call attention to specific content and add visual interest.
Now, let's create your Admission Hub Request!
A few things before we start!
Admission Communications edits the university-level Admission websites and school-level application instructions. All other Admission office websites are edited by your office in the CMS. Your edits are then added to the CMS approval queue: Admission Communications reviews and sends to Editorial, Editorial reviews and sends to Online Media, Online Media has final approval.
Admission Communications works with the Marketing and Communications Office to make sure our efforts complement work already in process. Now, let's work on your ad!
Thank you for thinking of our Instagram account!
We're really happy you'd like to reach out to our Instagram audience to share your work. Here are a few things to know before we get started:
Tips on creating your story:
Remember to caption your videos:
Use MixCaptions for iPhone and AutoCap for Android or iPhone. Clipomatic and Zubtitle are also popular and recommended. Videos that aren't captioned won't be posted.
Compose your message!
Editing existing content!
Do you have edits to existing content? Please feel free to review your content in this Google Drive Folder.
Unless we have a question for you, all existing comments and suggestions on the documents in the folder have been addressed. Please suggest your edits on the document itself, and let us know when you've done so below. This will help any of us to make edits to the content when the primary Admission Hub editor is out of the office.
Create new content!
Don't forget! Location and/or title will be determined by our team and the current Hub framework. FYI: YouTube videos can be embedded and played directly from the Hub. Other videos can be linked to.
Let's edit websites!
School-level Admission page info...
If the website you need to edit is a school-level Admission page, and not application instructions, go ahead and log into the CMS to make the edit. If you haven't logged into the CMS in a while, or if you need access, complete the fields below. We'll forward to the Marketing and Communications Office who will contact you for training. Trainings are held on the second Friday of the month.
Let's create your Social Media Ad!
