SPECIFICATIONS:

Art Display Boards and stands

Art Display Boards are double sided and made from peg board
Stands are custom made from metal, corner stands are available
Artworks can be hung on the display boards using metal hooks (which can be supplied)
Display area per display board - 1.8 metres wide and 1.2 metres high
Total height of display board and stand is approximately 2 metres
Display boards can be used as single boards using two stands or joined together with the stands (eg. 3 stands for 2 boards, 4 stands for 3 boards etc)

Display Boards Hire Fee - $11.00 (incl GST) per board per week
(Stands are supplied at no cost)

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Payment

A 25% deposit must be paid at the time of booking.
The remainder of the fee is to be paid at least seven (7) days before the hire date.
The hirer will be responsible for the replacement or repair cost of any hire goods that are not returned at the end of the hire period or are returned in a damaged condition.

Cancellation

Intention to cancel is to be indicated by telephone and confirmed in writing no late than seven (7) days prior to the arranged commencement of hire - deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days out from event - deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation less than 24 hours out from event - a full hire fee will be charged.

Transport and Assembly

Collection, return, transport and assembly must be arranged by the hirer.
Towns With Heart cannot supply labour to assist with loading and unloading. We suggest that the hirer has at least 2 men to assist with loading and unloading.
The display boards and stands must be collected and returned by the hirer to Kurri Kurri Visitor Centre, 199 Lang Street, Kurri Kurri (there is a back entrance from Brunker Street to the storage shed).
Collection and return must be within Visitor Centre hours (9am to 3pm).
Collection and return of the boards and stands must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior on 02 4936 1909.

Occupational Health and Safety

The hirer is responsible for all Occupational Health and Safety requirements (as set out in the NSW OH&S Act & NSW OH&S Regulations and all other legislation) associated with the use of the Art Display Boards and stands, including transport, assembly and pack-up.
The hirer is responsible for supervising event staff, volunteers, participants and audiences in connection with the assembly and use of the Art Display Boards and Stands.

Loss and Damage

The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the Art Display Boards and stands from the time that the equipment is collected until the time it is returned

Security

The hirer is responsible for the security and protection of the Art Display Boards and stands during the entire hire period.
Where applicable, the hirer is responsible for overnight security.

Public Liability Insurance

It is imperative that individuals, organisations and committees hiring the Art Display Boards and stands ensure that they are adequately covered by a public liability insurance policy to the minimum amount of $20 million. This is to safeguard them, in the event of claims by any person for injury, damages and other expenses incurred due to accident or damage suffered during the conduct of the period of hire.
A copy of the organisation's current Certificate of Currency must be attached. If the policy requres updating prior to the hire period, an updated Certificate must be supplied to Towns With Heart Inc at least seven (7) days prior to the hire period.
