FEES AND CHARGES

Outside Cessnock LGA (up to 1 hour travelling time each way)

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Payment

A 25% deposit must be paid at the time of booking, a tax invoice/receipt can be supplied.
The remainder of the fee is to be paid at least seven (7) days before the hire date.
The hirer will be responsible for the replacement or repair cost of any hire goods that are not returned at the end of the hire period or are returned in a damaged condition.

Cancellation

Intention to cancel is to be indicated by telephone and confirmed in writing no late than seven (7) days prior to the arranged commencement of hire - deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation less than 7 days out from event - deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation less than 24 hours out from event - a full hire fee will be charged.

Transport and Assembly

Transport must be arranged by Towns With Heart Inc.
The mobile stage will be delivered and picked up by a TWH Inc contractor.
ONLY AN AUTHORISED TWH CONTRACTOR MAY TOW THE MOBILE STAGE.
Price is inclusive of transport charges.
The TWH contractor will set up, dismantke and remove the mobile stage.
The hirer will obey all reasonable directions given by the TWH contractor, in respect of the use and location of the mobile stage and the cessation of use of the mobile stage.
TWH Inc reserves the right to enter the location and the mobile stage for the prupose of inspection, giving reasonable directions as stated above and erecting, dismantling and removing he mobile stage.

Occupational Health and Safety

The hirer is responsible for all Occupational Health and Safety requirements (as set out in the NSW OH&S Act & NSW OH&S Regulations and all other legislation) associated with the use of the Mobile Stage.
The hirer is responsible for supervising event staff, volunteers, participants and audiences in connection with the assembly and use of the Mobile Stage.

Loss and Damage

The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage to the Mobile Stage from the time that the equipment is delivered until the time it is collected.

Security

The hirer is responsible for the security and protection of the Mobile Stage during the entire hire period.
Where applicable, the hirer is responsible for overnight security.

Public Liability Insurance

It is imperative that individuals, organisations and committees hiring the Mobile Stage ensure that they are adequately covered by a public liability insurance policy to the minimum amount of $20 million. This is to safeguard them, in the event of claims by any person for injury, damages and other expenses incurred due to accident or damage suffered during the conduct of the period of hire.
A copy of the organisation's current Certificate of Currency must be attached. If the policy requres updating prior to the hire period, an updated Certificate must be supplied to Towns With Heart Inc at least seven (7) days prior to the hire period.

Power

Power may be used on the Mobile Stage provided that:

The supplying lead has been tagged and tested by a certified elecrician
The supplying lead is supprted in an appropriate manner at a MINIMUM height of 2.4 metres above the ground with a maximum span of 10 metres.
OH&S saefty controls are identified in the event of wet weather.
