Community Health Apprenticeship Program

Community Health Apprenticeship Program

The Community Health Apprenticeship Program (CHAP) builds healthcare infrastructure in communities most affected by HIV/AIDS by training people from those communities to become community health leaders. The apprentices in the program will gain knowledge in HIV education and prevention, care and treatment, utilizing trauma-informed, strengths-based, and harm reduction strategies.
