    Michael. S. Turner Scholarship Program 

    2021-2022 Academic Year

  • At UNL, the NCCEF will award seven $3,000 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner.

    Ineligible, incomplete, and late applications will not be considered.

    Application deadline for 2021-2022 is April 15, 2021.

    Criteria

    • Must be accepted as a student in CASNR majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Economics.
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (upperclassmen) or have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by UNL from SAT/ACT scores (freshman).
    • Be a child of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director or employee for at least the prior 3 years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for the past 5 years.
    • Preference for upperclass students shall be given to a student who is currently taking or has completed the Cooperatives class offered by CASNR (AECN 474 in 18/19AY or AECN 399 prior to that)

    Recipients are selected by a CASNR Scholarship Committee.

    Once chosen, NCCEF will verify co-op membership before announcing recipients.

    Your application information may be provided to the Donor in order to aid in choosing a recipient, or invite you to attend a scholarship meeting/luncheon with the donors of your scholarship or provide more information on your award.
