Because this is a VIRTUAL tour, you MUST have a computer with a camera, AND/OR a Smartphone/tablet, in order to participate.
The entire event will be on Zoom, with each artist assigned a breakout room "Booth" for their time slot(s). You will host your booth by being on camera and talking with folks who come by your booth - just like at an art expo.
You could, if you wished, also share a slide show of your work, or a recorded video demo. If you're using mobile, or on a laptop you can carry around, you can easily show people around your studio or bring artwork close to the camera for better viewing. (Note, you can also log into zoom with BOTH your laptop and your smartphone and have 2 camera angles!)
We strongly encourage you to take some time to set up your real-life studio to be on camera so you can easily show visitors your best work, and create a sense of fun and connection.
For those who are zoom wizards already, you're free to get as fancy as you like in your "booth".
We will also be presenting slideshows, demos, and short artist talks in the MAIN HALL (default zoom room), that audience & participants can attend. If you'd like to share something for that, please keep it to a 5-minute maximum.
Throughout this event, we encourage you do your best sales pitches and schedule visitors to come and see you in-person.
