Please review and acknowledge the following important safety items.
GSEMA Curbside Retail Pick-up Procedures
- Masks must be worn by the pick-up person. Our staff will also be wearing a mask and gloves.
- Hand sanitizer will be made available at the pick-up table for your use.
- All door handles and pick-up tables will be sanitized between use.
- When you arrive to the GSEMA shop parking area please remain in your vehicle and call the shop at 781-893-6293 to let the me know you have arrived.
- Since we will be assisting with other pick-ups, and won’t be readily available to answer the phone, please plan to call only during your scheduled time, even if you arrive early.
- Once you have spoken with the shop, and the pickup location is clear of any other volunteers, the staff person will place your order on a table directly inside the door.
- We will then notify you to proceed to the table for pick up.
- If your order involves Cookie Credits you will be asked to leave the Cookie Credit(s) on the pick-up table and proceed outside. Please allow a few minutes for the staff member to retrieve the Cookie Credit, process the Cookie Credit, and place your merchandise on the table. The staff member will then invite you back into the foyer once they have returned into the shop.
- We ask that you review your merchandise order prior to leaving. If there is an error, please notify the shop by calling 781-893-6293.
- If you have any questions, please ask when you call to notify the shop of your arrival. We will not permit volunteers to stand around the pick-up table.
- As a reminder, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges at this time.
- If you are unable to keep your confirmed appointment, you must reschedule your appointment by contacting 781-893-6293.

COVID-19 Precautions for Contactless Materials Exchange
Based on guidance from our governing bodies*, follow these guidelines to safely exchange materials with Girl Scout members.
- Ensure that everyone who is participating in contactless materials exchange is feeling healthy and well.
- Carefully disinfect materials when received or purchased.
- Wear a mask and gloves when handling materials.
- Coordinate with members for contactless pick-up ahead of time, such as scheduling curbside/porch pick-ups or making time slotted appointments to avoid in-person interactions.
- Remind members to also wear proper protection gear, including but not limited to masks, for pick-up.
*Governing bodies’ guidance includes, but is not limited to: GSUSA “Re-opening phases” guidelines; GSEMA Safety Activity Checkpoints including Coronavirus Safety in Girl Scouts on page 6; the Mass.gov guide to reopening guidelines, especially the restrictions in the Four-Phase approach; CDC COVID Guidelines, specifically, those guidelines for Child Care, Schools, and Youth Programs and Cleaning and Disinfecting paying close attention to Reopening Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting, considering how to properly clean your porous/non-porous supplies and maintaining safe behavioral practices as outlined by the CDC; and WHO Guidance
