Thank you for your interest in applying to San Jose City College as an F-1 International Student.
In addition to completing this online application, prospective students must submit the following required documents:
Detailed English translations of all secondary and post-secondary schools attended. Students under the age of 18 must show proof of high school graduation or the equivalent. Unofficial copies may be submitted for initial admissions review, but official copies will be required upon enrollment.
Proof of English Language Proficiency -
As demonstrated by one of the following:
Examination: Scores must be sent directly by the testing agency
Completion of Prerequisite Course for college-level English at a U.S. institution (As clearly shown on transcript).
Participation in Partner English Language Program
Original Bank Certification Letter -
indicating required funds in USD (For the 2021 - 2022 year, minimum $22,519 USD required) dated from within six months of the start of the semester applying.
Confidential Financial Certification Form -
Signed by applicant and sponsor(s) if applicable.
Transfer students from U.S. institutions must also submit the following:
Passport biographical information page
Copy of Current I-20
Copy of Current visa
Statement of Purpose
