    Themes:

    Big Movers/How Humans Work:

Movement plays a vital role in the early years, and as parents we all want our children to enjoy a healthy and happy start in life. This unit makes physical activity fun and non-competitive while exploring how and why our bodies move, and how different types of movement make us feel.

Children will develop greater spatial and body awareness, while discovering how we are all the same yet wonderfully different — and how we can embrace and celebrate those differences.

At the same time, we will learn about how the human body works and investigate what helps us stay healthy, including the important effects of diet and exercise. Along the way, we’ll all have the chance to wonder and ask: have you ever really considered how your body works?

    Busy Builders/Buildings:

Curiosity around construction is inherent in young children. As humans we are consistently looking to build, create and improve. Both the natural and man-made worlds offer us opportunities to explore and examine constructions and their purpose. BUSY BUILDERS takes the children on a journey, harnessing their natural curiosity to plan and explore a brand-new building. They will conduct research, make decisions, work as a team and transform something old into something new.

    Going Places/Time Travellers

Every day is an opportunity to start a new adventure. Whether we are traveling across the sea by boat, catching a train to a new city, or simply stepping back in time to uncover the mysteries of long ago, a journey can take us to incredible places.

As explorers and historians, we will look for clues and uncover evidence that tells a story-whether that story is found at the end of a map or hidden within our own memories. By looking at how the world is recorded and represented, we can find out more about where we’ve been and where we are going.

What adventures will you find today? What stories from the past are waiting for you to uncover them? Join us as we explore the world around us and the history within us.

    Feel the Beat/Look and Listen

Have you ever wondered what makes it possible to hear a plane overhead or see a friendly smile? Our world is filled with invisible magic—from the vibrations of a beat to the travel of a light beam. We don’t just "activate" these experiences; we live within them every single day.

By stepping into the shoes of both artists and scientists, we will explore how sound and light travel through our environment and our bodies. We will discover music in the most unexpected places and uncover the science behind how we perceive the world around us.

Is it magic, or is it science? It’s both! Join us as we learn to experience, explore, and enjoy the incredible rhythms and sights of our everyday
