    • Age: 2 years & 8 months to 4 years / Theme: "Little Movers"
    • The IEYC unit for the camp will be "Little Movers", and activities will include dance and movement, music, games, strength and flexibility, arts and crafts, sports, the use of big equipment, sensory play, literacy and phonics, numeracy, and, of course, lots of outdoor play! Children will be grouped by age level for the specific classes.

    • Age: 4-5 / Themes: "The World Around Us" and "Once Upon a Time"
    • The World Around Us (Week 1)
Look out of the window and what do you see? We share our world with lots of living things – people, insects, animals, birds, plants and trees. We need to make sure that our world is well looked after, so that everyone in it can enjoy a healthy and happy life.
Explore natural and built environments through observation, stories, and sensory play

      - Learn about recycling and how we can care for our world
      - Create playful art from natural or recycled materials
      - Discover what makes their local community special

Once Upon a Time (Week 2)
When we hear "Once upon a time", it signals the start of a thrilling adventure. No matter our age, we all have a favorite story we love to revisit. Now, it’s time to uncover new tales! Through them, we’ll sharpen our storytelling skills and craft our own incredible worlds of imagination. Ready? "Once upon a time…

      - Listen to and retell traditional tales like The Gingerbread Man or The Enormous Turnip
      - Act out familiar stories using role play, music, or movement
      - Try out simple storytelling or puppet-making
      - Explore story themes like teamwork, cleverness, and perseverance
      - Compare different versions of stories from around the world"

    • Age: 6-7 / Themes: "Look and Listen" and "Stories People Tell"
    • Look and Listen (Week 1)
Have you ever wondered how you can hear and how you can see? You can hear me talking and you can see me smiling at you. You can hear a plane flying overhead and you can see it crossing the sky. What makes hearing and seeing these possible? We will need to be scientists to find out how sound and light travels.

      - Explore where light and sound come from through fun, hands-on experiments
      - Discover how we use our ears and eyes to sense the world around us
      - Create and play with different sounds, instruments, and rhythms
      - Learn how different cultures use sound, light, and language in unique ways

      Stories People Tell (Week 2)
In The Stories People Tell, we will be learning about how we can become better storytellers by studying great tales from the past, such as myths and legends. In order to do this, we will need to take on the role of historians, geographers and artists. What story would you like to share with others – and how would you do it?

      - Hear and retell myths, legends, and traditional tales from around the world
      - Use art, music, and drama to bring stories and characters to life
      - Make creative maps or props inspired by story settings and adventures
      - Reflect on the lessons we learn from fables, heroes, and cultural traditions

    • Age: 8-11 / Themes: "Olympics: Success with Silver" and "Young Entrepreneurs"
    • Olympics: Success with Silver (Week 1)
Almost three millennia after it was first ignited, the Olympic flame is burning brighter than ever. This unit will introduce children to the evolution of the Olympics over time, from its humble beginnings in Ancient Greece to its current status as a global celebration of human achievement. It’s time to seek success with silver.

      - Learn about the Olympic Games and their history
      - Explore global cultures through the lens of sport
      - Join in fun games and team-building challenges
      - Reflect on values like effort, fairness, and resilience
      - Design medals or mascots inspired by Olympic traditions

      Young Entrepreneurs (Week 2)
In Young Entrepreneurs, we’ll master skills like creativity, leadership, teamwork, communication, budgeting, and planning—key to running a successful business. As historians, we’ll dive into the history of world trade; as designers, we’ll create and sell our own products while learning to promote them. Businesses offer products and services, but what makes them tick? Could you be the next Melanie Perkins (Canva), Bill Gates (Microsoft), or Charlotte Tilbury (Charlotte Tilbury)?

      - Think creatively about what makes a good product or service
      - Role play as designers, customers, and shopkeepers
      - Design, make, or promote simple products
      - Learn basic ideas about money and making choices
      - Work together on mini-projects to develop teamwork and confidence
