  • *The Bronze inspection is not an acceptable inspection for Salvage/Reconstructed vehicles or for those considering purchasing the vehicle from a distance/sight unseen/out of state. These situations require our Platinum Inspection. This inspection is for those buying an older/high mileage/budget vehicle and who understand they may have used car “issues” and is really concerned about the major mechanical condition of the vehicle. We do not test drive the vehicle with this inspection so it is crucial for you to feel comfortable with the vehicles operation and driving characteristics prior to purchase as we can not provide any insight on noises or the way things may feel only driving the vehicle.

  • *Please ensure your vehicle meets the Gold inspection criteria of being a 2022 or newer with less than 50K miles within Vancouver, Washington. If the vehicle doesn't fall within this criteria the Platinum inspection is your only/better option.

  • *If this is salvage vehicle you must provide the VIN above. We always recommend providing us the VIN or license plate number (if visible in the ad) in order for us to perform some upfront research on the car prior to the inspection especially if the car has been in an accident as many times we can find photos and get additional information on the car that may alter your decision to proceed with us contacting the seller to schedule the inspection in the first place.

  • TERMS

    • Canceling Inspections/Refund Policy:
      Please note that our payment processing fees are non-refundable. For this reason, any refund will be issued for the original payment amount minus actual fees (approximately 3%) to cover these fees.

      Once you've received our confirmation email with research the following terms apply:

      • We discover information during our research that makes an inspection unnecessary

      • You cancel your inspection with sufficient notice before it is scheduled.
        The vehicle is sold before we schedule the inspection.

        In these cases, your refund will be processed minus a $40 fee to compensate for our time, payment processing fees, research, and any reports or information already provided.

        Seller no show or vehicle sells prior to our arrival after we have confirmed with the seller on the day of the inspection:

      • If we attempt contact the seller to schedule on the day of the inspection and are unable to complete the inspection at fault of the seller (unable to reach despite having a heads up of our arrival/travel to location/no show/sold vehicle)
         
        There is a $80 minimum charge to cover the above merchant fees, research provided and to cover some of our travel time/expenses.

    • Inspections are scheduled in order of payments posting, your payment secures your inspection. We contact the seller only after payment is made.
    • We will contact the seller on the morning of the inspection to arrange the inspection time. We provide the seller a 30 minute window of our arrival and our platinum inspection takes up to 1.5 hours depending on overall condition. We ask that you please let them know we will be contacting them to schedule an appointment time and what to expect on inspection day.
    • We will give the seller a recap of our findings if they ask but we do not share your inspection with the seller(s) unless you specifically tell us to when booking. If the seller wants a copy of the report you’re more than welcome to email it/share with them but we leave that up to you and will not do so unless actually requested.

      Our phone number is 503-789-0168 if you’d like to try to reach us during business hours. Unfortunately we’re often unable to answer the phone while out performing inspections however we’ll be happy to return your call at the end of the day when returning to the office.
    • (Platinum inspection only) - If we immediately come across a major mechanical issue or come across an issue you specify in your “Stop inspection immediately if” section, we will immediately call you giving you the option of ending the inspection immediately with a partial refund of your inspection cost. If we’re unable to reach you during the inspection our inspector will use their professional judgment on how to continue. If this situation arises and we terminate the inspection early we will credit you back 50% of the inspection cost.
