Release: It is the understanding that the above handler/dog team will be participating AT THEIR OWN RISK. I understand that serious accidents can and do occur during dog training, competitions and other dog related events/activities. I am assuming all risks, liabilities and responsibilities.
I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA). German Shepherd Dog Club of America members, officers, directors, the Southern Maryland Working Dog Club (aka Greater Washington DC Schutzhund Group), Southern Maryland Working Dog Club (aka Greater Washington DC Schutzhund Group) members, officers, directors, and all property owners, and any other agitators, decoys, helpers, participants, spectators or dogs involved with this trial against ANY and ALL claims, demands, damages, costs and expenses of whatever nature, including court costs and attorney fees arising out of or resulting from my use and/or participation in or attendance at any of the above named parties, facilities or equipment, rented or used facilities or equipment, or instructions, training activities, demonstrations, trial or seminars. It is understood that every dog at this event will at all times be in control by the dog’s handler.
By signing this form I agree to be held fully responsible for my dogs’ actions while on the trial grounds. I agree that should any loss or injury be allegedly caused to me, or my dog as a direct or indirect consequence of participating in this trial, I will hold harmless the above stated clubs, organizations and individuals. I acknowledge that I have read and understand this trial waiver and have read and understand all the GSDCA/FCI rules..
All fees are non-refundable.
Proof of current vaccinations must be made available upon request.
In addition, by signing this release I give consent to any representative of German Shepherd Dog Club of American and Southern Maryland Working Dog Club (aka Greater Washington DC Schutzhund Group) to take pictures of events and any activities surrounding the events, said pictures shall be the sole and exclusive property of photographer for their sole and exclusive use and distribution. Further by signing this, I release any rights to the sale, posting or distribution of any pictures taken by photographer and waive any right to renumeration or compensation for any picture taken or sold of the events in question.
