    If you are exchanging event tickets, please read the following useful information.

  • During this public health emergency in Alaska for COVID-19 (coronavirus), many citizens in high-risk groups or who are sick or who have concerns about attending large public gatherings are checking their options regarding events at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and other venues.

    All CenterTix ticket holders have access to expanded ticket exchange options. For the duration of this public health emergency in Alaska, CenterTix tickets may be exchanged to any event currently on sale for this season.

    Exchange Costs

    • For the duration of this public health emergency in Alaska, CenterTix is waiving all exchange fees.
    • If the new tickets cost more, you will be charged the difference in price.
    • If the new tickets cost less, you will be refunded the difference in ticket price.

    Payment

    • Exchanges are processed once payment information is received.
    • CenterTix will evaluate the exchange and contact you with the total cost or total refund.
    • CenterTix will request confirmation to proceed with the exchange and process the payment or refund at that time.

    Restrictions

    • For cancelled or rescheduled shows:
      • Anchorage Concert Association subscribers should not use this form to exchange tickets for cancelled or rescheduled shows. Please contact the ACA at (907) 272-1471 or info@anchorageconcerts.org .
      • Anchorage Symphony Orchestra subscribers should not use this form to exchange tickets for cancelled or rescheduled shows. Please contact the ASO at (907) 274-8668 or aso@youraso.org.
      • Exchange requests will be honored within 2 weeks of the cancelled show date and time. When in doubt, contact CenterTix about exchange deadlines for cancelled shows.
    • For events that are still performing as originally scheduled:
      • CenterTix must receive the exchange information at least 24 hours before the start time of the performance you no longer want to attend.
      • CenterTix cannot exchange tickets for past shows.
      • To change show dates or times, the new show must must be at the same venue as the original show. Exception: Anchorage Opera exchanges must be for another Anchorage Opera performance only.
      • All exchanges are subject to seat availability.
      • Complimentary tickets cannot be exchanged.

    How It Works

    Complete this online form to begin. You will need to have your tickets or your order details with you in order to proceed. After you submit this form, CenterTix will contact you with a total cost or refund for the exchange and will take payment information at that time.

    Once the exchange is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from us with a new order number.

    If CenterTix is currently closed and you need to exchange tickets for a show that is happening before CenterTix reopens, do not use this form. Please contact the venue for assistance.

    Remember the discount must match the person entering the show, not the person buying the tickets. Common discounts are youth, senior, military, and student. Not all discounts are available for all shows.

  • If you have already received your tickets, we must see them destroyed to complete the exchange. Choose the option that works best for you.

    1) Snap a photo...First write void across each ticket that you are exchanging. Then snap a photo and either send it to us at exchange@centertix.com or upload it to this form.

    2) If your original tickets were delivered to your smartphone, please open your order (from your confirmation email) and "forward" each ticket that you want to exchange to exchange@centertix.com.

    3) Fax them over...First cut your tickets in half through the bar code. Photocopy or scan them and fax to (907) 263-2716.

    4) Bring them to our box office in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts where you'll be able to choose your new seats with us. Please come at least 30 minutes before the start of a show.

    The order number is listed as the "Order ID" and appears near the top of each ticket on the left side.

  • Please remember that a per ticket exchange fee is charged as well as the difference in ticket price when the new tickets cost more than the original tickets.

    CenterTix will contact you with a total cost for your exchange and take payment information at that time.

    Your exchange cannot be processed until payment is received. If you submit this form after hours, we will contact you during the next business day to complete your request. If the show you are exchanging out of is performing before then, please contact the venue for assistance.
