Hi Corbin,

I recently adopted a cat, and I've noticed she tends to hide under the bed whenever there are loud noises or when new people visit. Is this normal behavior for cats, or should I be concerned? Any tips on how to help her feel more comfortable would be appreciated.

It's quite common for cats to hide in response to loud noises or unfamiliar guests, as they are naturally cautious creatures.
