General Terms & Assignment
I agree to work with Kailee Marie Photography LLC as an independent contractor. I will agree to a contracted rate of service before the acceptance of the job. Payment is 30% of all earnings per wedding, up to 8-10 hours of event time (does not include travel time to and from job).
Independent Contractor
The contractor and Kailee Marie Photography LLC here by specifically agree that the contractor is performing the services as an independent contractor and is not an employee of Kailee Marie Photography.
Attire
The contractor is to wear a presentable and professional attire as stated in this contract. Our attire is all black business casual, with no graphics, and not low cut. Dresses are allowed only if passed fingertips. Wear comfortable footwear, sneakers are allowed if black or brown. Make sure they are comfortable; you will be on your feet all day. No perfumed cosmetics, as many participants may be sensitive or allergic.
Equipment
You must have your own equipment that you are responsible for. A camera, lens, and a flash IS REQUIRED. SD cards will be given to you. You will hand over the cards before leaving the event.
Time
Your photographer will give you an arrival time. Each event is different; some events last longer than anticipated. Please express to the Photographer in advance if you have somewhere to be at a certain time after the event.
You must be on time or early. Reserve 8-12 hours from the start of the event, in case the main photographer needs you to stay.
Copyright & Ownership of Images
All rights to images taken at any event are the sole property of Kailee Marie Photography LLC. Photos cannot to be used in any manner by the assistant photographer without written authorization of Kailee Marie Photography LLC. If written authorization is given for any purpose, the assistant photographer must use the following format (photo by “your name”, for Kailee Marie Photography LLC).
The contractor agrees not to sell any images taken during the event from Kailee Marie Photography LLC to any person, company, group, advertising agency or otherwise without permisson from Kailee Marie Photography LLC.
Conduct & Client Interaction
Be professional, respectful, polite, and courteous to all participants at all times. Respect and understand your photographers’ role as main photographer. The contractor is expected to assist the photographer first, and shoot second. The contractor must stay with the primary photographer at all times, unless instructed to do otherwise. Follow all instructions regarding important shots. If completed return to your photographer for further instructions.
At no time, before, throughout, or after the wedding may the contrctor hand out personal business cards. The contractor's sole responsibility with regards to clients is to promote Kailee Marie Photography LLC. You may not drink alcohol or smoke during a wedding. Violation of any of these terms is grounds for immediate termination and revocation of contract.
You are not allowed to Facebook friend or accept a friend request from a client or any of the wedding guests.
Notice for excusable absence
If you are unable to assist, please let Kailee Marie Photography LLC know if you can not make it to the event a minimum of 2 weeks (14 days)a head of time. If you cannot provide an excusable absence you will be bumped down to the bottom of the assistant list. If your absence is not excusable, or you do not give notice and do not show up for a wedding, your contract is revoked and you will not be paid.
