    How to move the print button before the submit button?

    Asked by ViewRetreats on December 01, 2016 at 03:15 AM

    Hi there,

    I also have this issue. I very much agree with leeanndumas that the standard order of the Submit/Print buttons does not seem like a logical UI.

    I have tried inserting the CSS code above. It definitely changed the location of the Print button, but it sent the Submit button off to the right hard side out on top of the background image.

    Can you please explain how we can achieve a more logical layout where the Submit button is on the right hand side of any other buttons (ie. Print or Clear)

    Thank you in advance!

    Is this the form you are working on http://www.jotform.me/form/62712346714454?

    You can add this CSS to your form:

    #input_print_19 {

        margin-left : -330px!important;

    }

    How to Inject Custom CSS Codes

    After you add this CSS code your form will look like this.

    Here is my demo form: https://www.jotformpro.com/form/63351253209955

    Feel free to clone it

    Other workaround would be to add two submit buttons to your form and shrink them to be in the same line. Then add print button to the first button and hide first submit button with CSS.

    Demo form: https://www.jotformpro.com/form/63352042019951

    I think that first option just with CSS is better.

    In case that you are working on some other form, please provide us ID of that form and we will provide you CSS to position Print  and Submit buttons.

    Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
