How can I mass upload 96 questions with the same options?

    Hi there,

We'd need some help with our forms. Planning to send out a form with a pretty long questionnaire in it, with altogether 96 questions.

The questions are different, answers will be the same Worst and Best texts, using the same 6-grade radio button scale everywhere.

I'd like to avoid adding and populating 96 fields manually, I'm familiar with the mass upload feature in other forms, but would rather find a solution here asap, if it's an option.

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

The only means to have your form created automatically out of questions you already have available, is to use our Spread2Jot app:

    https://www.jotform.com/spread2jot/

Other than that, I'm afraid you'll have to create your desired form manually. Creating forms is easy with JotForm, so even if you have 96 questions, it shouldn't take long. Please see the following guide on how to manually create your form:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/2-How-to-Create-Your-First-Web-Form

Please let us know if you need further clarifications or assistance.

    Boris,
Thank you so much for your quick and thorough help! That app worked
perfectly, at least it seemed to....
Uploaded my questions, but after finishing it says the form should be in my
account, but there's nothing generated there.
Tried twice, but there's no form created...
I guess it's not the app that's broken, shouldn't take too much time for
    the form to show up.
    Please advise,
    Best,
    David

I have tested the app with a sample excel sheet and see that the form is created without any issue. Please make sure that you are having the labels in each column in the excel sheet and then try to import the sheet which should be working fine. If the excel sheet is having merged columns it might cause the issue.

Otherwise, as suggested by our colleague it doesn't take much time in creating a new form with our intuitive drag and drop fields in the form builder.

    Thank you!

    Thanks a lot!
I've tried to do it again, and I get to a blank page (instead of the one
saying everything is all set and the form is created).
Attached screenshot and the xls I tried to upload.
Can you help me figuring out what the problem is with uploading?
It's not an option to start uploading these items one by one in the editor,
need to have a quicker and more end-to-end solution..
    Thanks a lot again,
    David

    Hello David,

Could you please share with us the XSL file you're using? If you can, please send it to jotformsupport@gmail.com and let us know here that you sent. It will be easier for us to investigate this problem.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!
