I am setting up my first form.  It is embedded in my local website development area (not published to the web yet). I am developing the link calling the form page and the form page so testing and visiting the page a number of times for usablity.  Over the last two days, this has probably been 100 times (maybe 200 on the extreme upper end).  I'm now getting the error message that I have exceeded the Form View limit...

According to the status page the form has been viewed over 2,500 times...

There is no way I have viewed that form 2500 times.

I have reviewed many of the forum threads to see how I can address this and my understanding i that views from the same IP or device (which is the case for me) while logged into the JotForm site (which is also the case), should not be counted as Form Views (https://www.jotform.com/help/355-Form-View-Limits-What-is-it-all-about).

"It will also not count it if the form is viewed by yourself while you are logged in - even if the form is embedded on your website.

This means that form views only count if someone else views the form. The same applies if you are not logged into the system while checking it."

As of right now, everything is on my local machine so there can't be other web traffic, bots, etc.  accessing the form to drive up the Form View count.

Even if I upgrade to the Bronze level and get 10,000 Form Views, at this rate I will surpass that limit in the next few hours.  Something is wrong.

    Please help.

I checked your form analytics and I can confirm that there are currently over 2,577 views on your form, and it appears that these views are all from the same IP.

Form views should not be counted while you are viewing the form and logged in to your Jotform account. May I ask if you are using a web development tool such as Dreamweaver? Are there any add-ons or plugins you may be using? Something might be causing the page to reload constantly and somehow lead to the large amount of form views. What browser were you using to view your page?

I will be waiting for your response. In the meantime, I will also check here further and let you know once I am done investigating. Thank you.

Using Dreamweaver, but very basic usage - basically as HTML editor.  Website is not published using DW.

    Firefox is browser.

    Thanks for taking a look.

    Hello thatrobharper,

Can you please check if live preview of your dreamweaver is enabled?

I would suggest you to please turn off live preview of your Adobe dreamweaver. Please note that live preview will constantly refresh your page which will in turn load your form as well.

    Thank you!

I have turned off the live view in DW, so we'll see if that helps.  Is there a way to reset my Form View counter?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Since your account type is Free, you only have 1000 monthly form views. However, you have reached 1000 form view limit per month.

Submissions, Payment Submissions and Form Views are resetted at the first day of each month. Thus, your Form Views will be resetted at January 1st, 2017.

If you need more Form Views per month, you can upgrade your account.
