Email Notification: is it possible to have the dollar sign instead of the country currency sign?

    Hello,

I created a form for our Canadians customer,  I have items with prices.  I understand that Jotform is used in many countries.  Instead to have "CAD" for Canadian dollars, could we used only the dollar sign "$"?

On a previous thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/1002604-Purchase-Order-Integration-Ability-to-customize-the-content-submitted-in-email-#5  BDavid suggested to use USD currency to have the dollar sign displayed.  The solution works for the prices displayed within the form.  However, when the user received his submitted form summary through email notification, 'USD' is displayed instead of the dollar sign!?!?!. (see attached email)  Can we have the same behavior on the email notification (display of the '$' instead of 'USD) as in the form?  If not, we need to keep the Canadian dollars 'CAD' as currency to not miscommunicate with our clients but this is an unconvenient way to display '$'.

    Thanks,

    Martin

Unfortunately, there is no feature to display the dollar sign in the email notification, since USD is setup by default. I have sent a request to our back-end team to have the option to display the dollar sign as it is displayed within the form.

You will be notified via this thread if there is any progress on this request.
