Subscription payments: Ability to change the next billing date of a subscription by the user making payment

    I think I read that a customer cannot choose what day their reoccurring subscription payment is paid. I feel like I misunderstood since that seems like an important feature.

    Can they choose the day of the month if the subscription is set up monthly, or will it just come out every 30 days from the date they initially set it up (which seems like a poor design)?

    Hello rtdmr,

    Unfortunately no. It is not possible to choose the day of the month for monthly subscription payment. It will always charge on the same day each month when the form was submitted.

    Do you actually want the option to be customizable on which day each month user needs to be charged? Do get back to us on this and we will send a feature request to our backend team.

    Yes, it would be great if the user could choose what day of the month it charges.

    I was planning to use jotform to have tenants pay their rent and they would traditionally want to trigger their payment on a day of their choice between the last day of the month and the 5th of the next month.  But that won't necessarily be the date they submit the form.

    Please request that feature be added since I cannot use Jotform until it is.

    Generally, subscriptions are based on the number or days/months/year. If the user wants to be charged on a particular date, he can submit the form on the same date so that the subscription continues to charge on that date. Additionally, this needs to be supported by the payment gateway as well.

    However, let me forward the thread to our backend team to evaluate the feature. We cannot provide any ETA for the implementation of the feature. Once we have any update in this regard, you'll be posted here.

    Was this issue ever corrected?  Can we now change the subscription due dates vs having it charged every 30 days/weekly/yearly?
