How can I have a mobile responsive buttons in the form?

    Hi,

The form submit button is mobile responsive and can be altered in many different ways (color, alignment, etc.)

It would be great if Jotform made that same button available as a stand alone button, without submit properties.

Unless y'all already had something like that which I'm not aware of?

I've tried using image pickers and radio buttons but the problem is that they are not mobile responsive when it comes to auto adjusting their size / dimension like the submit button is.  They are constrained by the width x height and number per row parameters.

    Any input, suggestions or alternatives?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Could you please let us know what exactly would you like to do with that button, since I'm not sure how you want that button to work.

If you want to move between the pages on your form you could use Page break field:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/119-How-to-Create-Multi-Page-Forms

If you can give us more information about what are you trying to achieve so we can give you better solution, if possible?

    We'll wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for quick response.

I've started a form that will allow clients 3 options. (Cancel, Change, Confirm)

I used submit buttons (for sample formatting purposed) for all three.  View form at:

    https://form.jotform.com/63397030463152

If they click confirm, then submission takes place with a thank you page.

If they click cancel or change, other fields show.

I used submit buttons because of their mobile responsive capabilities and for all the options regarding color & other CSS changes I can make in advanced designer.

Is there a way to change the functionality of a submit button & use the button instead as a simple "picker / option" with rules & conditions?

My default assumption on that is no, so my next question is, do y'all have current widgets that can be customized to function just like the buttons showing on my form?

Again, my problem with current pickers like image radio buttons or button radios is that they are not mobile responsive in their ability to auto-size, and changing or adjusting CSS is difficult for non-code / non-CSS savy people like me... I just muddle through the best I can until I figure out what works.  The simplicity of design for your "submit button" would be awesome if you could make it available for simple, non-submit buttons for use with rules & conditions.

If this type of functionality is not yet available, I'd sure love some help altering / configuring current radio button options to look / mobile response like what I've got sampled.

Unfortunately, the function of the submit button cannot be changed to selection. We have the image radio button widgets, they are responsive but might need some adjustments, especially in the design aspect.

Yes, you can use the radio button field. We can help you with that. Just please create the form, finish it first then let us know the form URL so we can check and do the styles.

Here's an test form using the radio button https://www.jotform.com/63403439949970.

Thanks Welvin... I've seen many of your responses to what seems like high level CSS / coding challenges. I appreciate you taking a look and providing feedback.

    Two questions:

    1. Can you put in my request to the higher-ups about making single, non-submit, selector buttons available and customizable like the submit button is? I think that'd be a great feature.

    2. In you test form above with the radio buttons, I appreciate the custom format but will you be able to have the "Cancel Request" & "Make Changes" radio buttons auto size regardless of the screen dimensions? If not, what about auto-centering?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, the styles in the radio button can only be done by adding custom CSS codes in the form. There's no need to worry about this as again, we can help you with this matter.

    1. Sure. I'll do it on this new thread: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1004769

    2. That's just an example showing you the radio button field as a big button. Auto resize and any other styles are possible, we can help you with that.

Here's a form from our theme section showing more radio button as big buttons: https://www.jotformpro.com/form/42675737632968

    Hello JotForm Tech-Gurus!

It's been a while since Welvin last responded to this thread. Having offered help with customizing radio buttons, I look forward to seeing what can be done.

The form I'm working in is located at:

    https://form.jotform.us/71144069093152

1st Question or Request.... I'd like to somehow get the calculated values for 1x, Weekly, BiWeekly & Monthly to show up within the corresponding radio button, with the price just below the frequency.

    Example:

How can I have a mobile responsive buttons in the form? Image 1 Screenshot 20

Can this be done? Please tell me it can.

    Thank You.
