    Form not working

    Asked by cpk on May 17, 2012 at 04:47 AM

    Can't get a new form to work on this site http://www.millportholidayapartments.co.uk/contact.htm I have several JotFoms that work well but for some reason forms have stopped working on this site although I have not done any work on it. I have also tried another Jotform which I have working well on another site but it will not work on this site.

    The form appears in the right position but the cursor will now insert text into the form.

    Help will be much appreciated.

    Hi,

    Can you please try to re-embed your form using an iFrame code? To get your form's iFrame code, please follow the steps below:

    1.  Go to Setup & Embed tab
    2.  Click Embed Form
    3.  Click iFrame

    Just let us know if this doesn't work so that we can further assist you.

    Hello

    Thanks for the prompt response. Tried the iframe option but it still doesn't work. I have also tried publishing to a differrent ISP//server but no change. The iframe version is at http://www.intelligentbrochures.com/formtest/formtest.htm

    Instead of using:

    http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21367226560350

    Can you please try using:

    http://www.jotformeu.com/form/21367226560350

    You just need to remove the form on your current form URL and replace it with www.

    Tried this, the form appears as before but still unable to enter anything in the fields. I note that if I double click on the form it highlights the full frame - don't know if that is any hint to the problem

    The problem in this is because your positioning of the divs has something to do on covering some layers.  Please try to add "z-index: 1000;" to your css to the div layer where your iframe (jotform script) is:

    <div style="position: absolute; left: 152px; top: 215px; width: 354px; height: 328px; z-index: 1000;">
       <iframe allowtransparency="true" src="//www.jotformeu.com/form/21367226560350" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:457px; border:none;" scrolling="no">
       </iframe>
     </div>

    Please let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
