    Daily API Call Limits: How did I reach the limit while only in development process?

    What constitutes an API and how could I use 1000 of them while just doing development.

    Here is the detailed message I received.

     

    You have reached your JotForm API limit



    It seems like you have reached your API limit. FREE accounts are limited to 1,000 requests per day and you have used 1,000 requests today. Your API Key (ecd94f...82c4ab) has been disabled for the rest of the day. Since we understand that it can be an inconvenience to have your access stop working because you have reached your API limit, we'd like to remind you that you can upgrade and your API key will be running smoothly again.

    Hi,

    We have a guide that tells all about the API calls:

    Please pay special attention to the last sub label on this page. It should tell more about how you reached the limit. If you are using widgets, applications or integrations they consume the API call limit a little faster than the rest of the modules in JotForm. 

    I have now reset your daily API limits. You can continue the development process without a problem now.
