I have created reminder emails to be sent to guests using the automated email option, and set the date for email to send. But for the past two events I have done - it seems the email wasn't sent. Help?

I have compared your form submissions and history page and I can confirm that no autoresponder is being sent to the submitters in the form. I did my own test and I have to wait until tomorrow to see if this feature is really not working but I will forward this thread to our developers for further investigation. We'll keep you posted for updates
Can you also please tell us know if you have this reminder email setting ever since the form was created? I will have to note it in the ticket.

Many thanks Welvin!
The reminder email was created a few weeks after the form was created.

You're welcome and thank you for the information. I have noted it. You should receive an update through this thread once we find something.

Hi, did you manage to find out why the reminders weren't sent?
I wondered if it was something to do with the event being disabled after a certain amount of submissions?

Thanks for your reply.
There was no update about this as of the moment but I will ask my colleague about his finding on this.
Anyway, so far on my test, the scheduled autoresponder worked just fine. I think it has something to do with the state of your form being disabled. A disabled form is considered to be a non-working form so I believe the notification can't be fired off when it is disabled.
Please ensure that the form is enabled until the scheduled autoresponders are sent.

Unfortunately, the autoresponder is an email reminder for a couple of days before the event, and I set the form to disable on submission limit! So enabling it would exceed our maximum capacity.
Is there any way around this?
- JotForm SupportEltonCrisAnswered on December 15, 2016 at 10:46 AM
So I presume that the form has reached its limit and is already disabled when it passes the scheduled date of the autoresponder? This might probably the reason why it was not working.
Anyway, what you can try is to enable the form and remove the submit button so users who have the link will not be able to submit the form. And for the scheduled date, since it has already passed, I'm afraid it won't work anymore.
The only solution I could think of this moment is to manually send a message to all the users who have filled the form using this app http://email.jotform.io/. It's either you send a custom HTML message or a custom text.
Hope this helps.

We are sorry for the inconvenience we may caused!
We've investigated your form Special Guest Night (9 December) which was created at 20.09.2016 and found out that you set this reminder email after your previous submissions was made.
Please note that Send Emails Later feature only work after the date is selected and setting was completed. Your submissions before that setting is not able to receive that autoresponder emails.
Your form has 21 submissions total and I can confirm that your forms 5 submissions after 14.11.2016 was received your reminder email (Reminder for Special Guest Night (9 December)).
Also, I saw your form named Christmas Buffet Lunch (14 December) and you also set a reminder email named Reminder for Christmas Buffet Lunch (14 December) for this form. All your reminder emails was sent to your submitters on the arranged date 12.12.2016.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance with the Send Emails Later feature.
Thank you for contacting us.
