    Hello,

I understand that it is possible to use my own url with the embeded jotform in it (if i use the source code and not iframe)

But i have question of prepopulation.

My first form is in fact a car loan calculator.

If visitors do theire calculation, when they are satisfied with the loan plan, they can go ahead to form 2 which is an application form with more or less 500 fields (the most if them are obligated by law).

Now, i want to integrated the possibility to save and continu later.

That means tha i'll need to make an new form 1, where i ask the name and email.

but its not clear to me, can i still use my calculator form, or can i use my calculator form as the form 1

because in form2 i need to pre populate the results of the calculation.

So if i need to use a Third form as the base form for asking the visitors theire email, is theire a possibility that i can prepopulated as well from the new form as from the calculator form?

There are two ways to save form and continue later:

    1. How to Enable Auto fill feature - save form entries to continue later

Auto fill method is based on browser local storage. It is saving the form data on users browser, so user can open the form later and he/she will see the past data. Note - user will need to use same browser to access data.

    2. How to save form to continue later (Session method)

The Session method is saving the data on our servers. With this method you will need to use two forms, one for session generation and second as primary. Then users will be able to access their sessions from any locations.

If you are going to use session method you can also pass data form your first form to your second form. Inside of this guide you can find how to Automatically Pass Form Data to Another Form:

Hope this will help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

No this was not helpfull because i knew this already.

The problem is when using session method in saving and continue later

Can i make as a form 1 for instance this form https://form.jotformeu.com/53152318011340 (it is a car loan simulator, once visitors played around and find a monthly payement or loan amount of theire pleasing they can go ahaed to form 2, which is the application form where already the prepopulation is set with the method you proposed above.

    NOW

the save and continue later is not yet set, so the question

    1. can i use the first form (above)

    2. and my seccond form https://form.jotformeu.com/53405202406341?kostprijsVan900=&betaaldVoorschot901=&welkBedrag=&jkp=&looptijd903=&maandelijkseAflossing=0%E2%82%AC&totaalbedragOp=0%E2%82%AC

OR do i need to create a third form, which i set as the 1st form, an can i use my loan calculator in between or beside of form 1.

The main goal is that there is a session save and continue later on the big form nr 2

on the calculator i'm not interested

    Hello,

    I have checked your forms.

If I have understood your question well, you are asking about if you need a third form to do calculations after prepopulating forms.

You do not have to create the 3rd form to do calculations. You can both prepopulate the form and also use the conditions on the same form.

Please check my simple demo at the following link that I have created to use calculations and prepopulate the fields at the same time: https://form.jotform.com/63413161495959

I have used the thank you page to prepopulate the form and I have used to conditions to do calculations.

Please try and if you need further assistance, let us know.

    Thank you.
