    How do I get my form to sit centre?

    Asked by CUF on December 08, 2016 at 05:37 AM

    When you open my form up into a new tab (https://form.jotformeu.com/63363263236353) it sits on the far right of the page, how do I make this centralized?

    Thanks,

    Sam

    Hi Sam,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I have checked your form and found some incorrect codes in your Custom CSS. I have fixed your codes and add some codes to make centralized your form.

    Please remove your Custom CSS codes and inject these codes into your form:

    .form-all {

        background : #c3002f;

        color : #fff !important;

        border : 1px solid #000;

        border-radius : 5px;

        margin-left : 1100px;

    }

    .form-line-error {

        background : transparent;

    }

    .form-line-error .form-error-message, .form-label-left {

        display : none;

    }

    .form-button-error {

        color : white;

        text-align : center;

    }

    .form-textbox {

        border-radius : 5px;

        height : 32px;

        width : 220px;

    }

    .form-textbox:focus {

        background-color : #fafaea;

    }

    .form-submit-button {

        border : 1px solid #EF7E23 !important;

        border-radius : 3px!important;

        font-weight : bold!important;

        height : 43px !important;

        width : 220px !important;

        background : #EF7E23 !important;

        font-size : 16px;

        text-shadow : none;

        box-shadow : none;

        color : #fff;

    }

    .form-submit-button:hover {

        border : 1px solid #333 !important;

        border-radius : 3px!important;

        font-weight : bold!important;

        height : 43px !important;

        width : 220px !important;

        background : #333 !important;

        font-size : 16px;

        text-shadow : none;

        box-shadow : none;

        color : #fff;

    }

    #text_1 {

        font-size : 11px;

        font-family : Arial;

    }

    #text_5 {

        font-family : Arial;

        font-weight : bold;

        font-size : 19px;

        text-align : center;

    }

    #text_6 {

        font-family : Arial;

        text-align : centre;

        margin-top : -32px;

        line-height : 20px;

        color : white;

    }

    Everthing works properly on my side, as you can see below :

    Hi I’ve just deleted the old code, and put in your code and it has actually made it worse – the form now goes off the side of the screen on the right hand side. Would you please be able to just edit this code for me, I don’t understand how it’s sitting correctly for you, but not me?

    Hi Sam,

    I have checked direct URL of your form that you shared and realized that you made centralized your form. As you can see below screenshot:

    Did you embed your form any website? If you embedded your form, please provide us your website's direct URL. We will glad to solve your problem.

    Hi,
    It’s not embedded on any website, it is opening in a new tab on Google Chrome: As you can see here, after putting in your new code it has gone off the right side of the screen. The same problem is happening on my colleagues computers too.
    Thanks,
    Sam

    I’ve done it… I changed margin left to 550 instead of 1100:
    .form-all {
    background : #c3002f;
    color : #fff !important;
    border : 1px solid #000;
    border-radius : 5px;
    margin-left : 500px;
    }
