How to create an order form to sell unique products?

Asked by adatshalom on December 11, 2016 at 11:07 PM

I see you recommend Inventory Widget for controlling number of items, but it seems unwieldy for our purposes. Any other advice?

We have a Art Show running and want to be able to allow purchase of the items, so that once one is sold it is no longer available for sale. There is only one of each item available.

    Thus, we would have

    Item 1 Photo $100

    Item 2 Painting $150

    Item 3 Painting $200

    Item 4 Necklace $50

    Hello,

I have understood your question clearly. You need to create an "Art Order Form" and every product is unique that, once of them is sold it will not be available.

You can actually try using the following widgets to restrict the number of products:

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/inventory

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/quantity_gift_registry

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/gift_registry

    http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/ticket_purchases

I did not understand that why the Inventory widget seems unwieldy for your purpose? Because it is possible to configure the widget as like that: if the product has sold once, it is not able to sell it once again. Also, you can hide the number list with CSS codes and upload an image to each product as you can see the following screenshot:

Please try and if you need further assistance, let us know.

    Thanks.

I have checked your JotForm and see that the quantity is not set correctly in the widgets. Please open the wizard, and set the quantity as per your requirement. Also, make sure that you enter the number as a whole number.

    Hope this information helps!

I have added a form calculation widget and an example PayPal payment field in addition to the inventory widget into my example order form in order to make it work better.
