    How to change the name on email sender?

    We created a form to receive payments via Dwolla.

    I changed the sender email address on the confirmation email that is sent to clients from noreply@jotform to our own email address. (I selected a Verified account and input the code that was sent into the wizard).

    However, when we did a test run, the name still says JotForm (although it does have our own email address now).

    But more importantly, it says " This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear to be. Learn about spoofing"

    It is problematic to have something like this show up to clients who have just submitted payment, so please let me know what I can do to fix this.

    Since you run a test submission all values are showing as they are in the form and Name will be JotForm since that is the default name. If you input anything in Sender name field that will be shown instead.

    Regarding your second part of the question if you could share with us the screenshot of that message you saw it would help us determine how you got it.

    Thank you for your help with the name! That worked perfectly.

     

    Please see the image below to see the notice on the email. Now that the name and the email match, I did not see it on the most recent test email, but if you have any information on why it showed up, I would greatly appreciate it, as I want to make sure it does not happen to any clients. Thanks!

    Glad to know what Nik_C suggested worked for you. 

    Regarding to the alert you received in the email from JotForm, do note that this may be because of the sender name used and the sender email address not being from JotForm, this may be why it disappeared when the sender name changed; however, if you're still experiencing inconveniences with the emails, please try setting up a custom sender using the SMTP method, this way you have more control over how the emails are sent: How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form
