Payment field shows zero amount even with item selected

    Even with that item set to Required - you are still able to select one of the choices but leave the doller value as zero.  It doesn't seem to catch that (unless I'm doing something wrong).

    There was no corresponding amount set on your payment field on your form https://www.jotform.us/form/63376241272151

     

    So any of the items actually appear as FREE items (0.00 amount/value).

    You should put price/amount on them so that there will be a total amount shown when item was selected.

    No - this does not resolve the issue.

    Let me re-state the problem:

    We should be able to create a subscription where the user can choose any amount GREATER THAN ZERO but NOT ZERO. 

    If someone selects on option to pay it makes no sense for them to select $0.  That means they forgot to put the amount down.  We should be able to have a message that says "You must put in an amount."  But I do not want to select the amount for them.  ANY amount (that is not zero).

    Thank you for the explanation and providing more details. I see what you meant.

    The payment form can be submitted with zero(0) amount charged.

     

    Currently there is no such option in the payment field that will validate if Total Amount is greater than zero(0) amount. So it still allows submission even with zero(0) total amount.

    I will look for a workaround that can overcome this. I'll be back shortly.

    Unfortunately I found a bug in the subscription type of payment using Payment tool.

    The glitch was causing unintended option to be available and can be confusing.

    After test the Subscription payment option, I found that total calculation is only being triggered for the last item added on the payment tool.

    Ex:

    I have submitted this thread to the next level support so that they can investigate further and render a fix to this glitch.

    We will let you know once we have fixed this.

    Your form can no longer be submitted if the subscription amount is not greater than zero.
