Is it possible to change the column names in Spreadsheet widget and reflect that change in submission?Asked by cehenry on December 22, 2016 at 01:16 PM
Here is the form I have created: https://form.jotform.com/63467153516963
I have subbed out the titles of the spreadsheet columns and row through coding provided through your forums (thanks for this). However, these renamed columns and row are not appearing in the email response when the form is submitted. It reverts back to A, B, C, D for each column and row, etc. I really want this because it will enable me to take our company's expense reports digital and this is the last piece to that puzzle for me to figure out. Thanks!
I'm afraid that it is not possible since with the CSS code we didn't change the actual labels of those fields, we just showed them differently on the preview.
Maybe a matrix field would be more convenient for you since you can change the column/row names there easily and they will reflect the email submission:
