Is there a workaround not to close the lightbox window when click outside the modal box?

Removing the '2' from the src code doesn't seem to work anymore.

Is there another workaround for disabling the close of a lightbox form when the user clicks outside the form window?

Yes, removing the 2 from the script URL no longer work for disabling close function on the modal window. 

Your workaround would be to use a different script that would open the form in a modal and has the option to disable the close function outside div element. You seem to be using Squarespace CMS for your website, I'm sure you can find an app for this.
