Opening the file with the encryption key

Asked by kimshamsiddin on December 24, 2016 at 09:15 PM

    Hello team,

I am trying to create encrypted forms and have requested Jotform send me a key. However, when I try to open the document it looks like code.

Is there a specific app I should use to open it? I used MS word but it looks all jumbled and is unreadable.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

You can make use of that encrypted key when you visit the submissions page of your form. The browser will prompt you to install that said key and after which, you should be able to view the submissions.

You can check this guide for more information on encrypted forms: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

If you have questions, please let us know.

    Thanks.
