Is there a way to embed a table into the form to validate an account number is active?

    Hi!

I am working to streamline some activities within my community.  Is there a way to have a list of account numbers in the background of the form to validate that a Last Name and Account Number is correct?

    Thanks!

    Erin

    Hello Erin,

Please note that it is currently not possible to validate input data with any external source or previous submission data.

One way to achieve your requirement is by taking advantage of our "Conditions" feature. You can add condition in your form to check the input data of last name and validate it with the account number.

    Hope this helps.

Do try out and get back to us if you have any questions. Please share some account number and resident name, we will create a demo form for you.

    Thank you!

Thanks!  I was able to put 2 hidden fields with rules that were able to work around this.

Specifically, I did a formula that combined the last name and account number, then had a hidden drop down field with all possible last names and accounts.  Then did a condition to make them match, populate a text field with "Valid Account Information".  If there isn't a match, the field stays blank and populates that field with "Call Guard Shack".

    Thanks again!

    Erin
