Can a sub user set up the payment gateway for a paid account?

We have a paid account (Silver), but we're going to have our IT person set up the payment gateway for us since we're experts at web design, but not so much at doing IT (and that's what they're paid for). Will he be able to set up the payment gateway or do I have to do that?

I would like to apologize, however, are you referring to Payment Integrations that you will be using with your forms?

You sub-users will be able to set it up for you if they have full access or at least write access to your forms. Also, they will need the login credentials to the payment gateways as well to set it up.

I hope this answers your question. If you have other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again anytime.

    Thank you.

Where can I find the instructions for setting up a payment gateway?

That will highly depend on which Payment Processor you would use. I'll list some of them for your convenience.

    1. Paypal: PayPal-Forms

    2. Stripe: How-to-Integrate-Stripe-with-your-Form

    3. Dwolla: Setting-Up-Dwolla-Integration-With-JotForm

    4. Square: Create-JotForm-Payment-Forms-Using-Square

To aid you on deciding which payment processor to use, here's a good article: Which-Payment-Processor-is-Right-for-Your-Business

We have a PayPal PayFlow Pro account and have successfully set up our gateway with a previous form vendor. I wish to do that with JotForm, but I don't see a button or link that I can click to begin the process. Where do I find that link? Surely, I won't have to set this up each time I create a form that takes online payments, will I?

Payflow payment integration is currently not currently available in JotForm. However, please note that we do support Paypal & Paypal Pro including their standard integrations.  The payment field needs to be set up for each form, it is a rather short process:

I've obtained our PayPal API username, password, and signature. We have PayPal's PayFlow Pro Payment Gateway Account. When I add a payment field and select PayPal Pro, I'm unable to verify our credentials. When I repeat the process selecting PayPal (the first PayPal selection in JotForm) I'm able to verify my credentials. Shouldn't my credentials work with the Pro selection as well? Also, do I need to enter these every time I create a form that requests payment? Other products that I've used enable me to set up a payment gateway when we set up our account so that we don't have to enter the credentials each time we create a form.

    Thanks for the additional information.

Just so that I'm clear: when you say the payment field, you mean we need to re-enter our API signature, etc. each time we add a payment field for the form? It's not stored as a part of our JotForm Account?

That is correct.  Each time a new form is created and a new payment field is added, your API key and such would need to be entered.
