    Hi guys and Happy Holidays,

I am trying to make a small donation form. which is giving me an issue.

    THE FORM DESIGN:

as you will see from the link I am including the form has a radio input with 3 choices : SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM.

Once one is selected a donation box will appear. Silver allows 1 to 199. Gold allows 200 to 4999. Platinum allows 5000 +.

All i want to do is to put conditions so that the amount on those boxes to my payment method (paypal user defined amount). problem is that its not working. its not copying the field's Value.

    Thanks,

The problem is that you can not insert values to payment field by using conditions. The only way to collect values from some field is to use Form Calculations widget. Then you will be able to set that field in Payment wizard. What you could do is to insert one Form calculations widget to be a total field, for example:

So we set that PayPal will pick up a total donation. And this is how you can set the total field:

With that formula, we are sure that all donation types will be calculated. What is important is that default value in each field is zero so it will not calculate wrong.

You can make the total Field hidden since it is not needed to show it to the user.

Hope this could work for you.

Here is my clone of your form so please check and let us know how it worked for you:

    Hi,

Thank you for the prompt reply. That was certainly a great and helpful answer. Although I wanted to add something for other users that might encounter same problem as I did.

I might not have mentioned but ONLY ONE selection would be accepted during form filling so if the user selects SILVER and adds a number then change their mind and select GOLD and add another number.

they would have an issue of both numbers being added and the donation amount will be more than they would like to donate.

I am not sure what is the ideal fix for that.

But I made calculation conditions that would reset the none selected fields back to zero. If you know a better way to reset those fields please let me know.

Thank you and HAPPYYY NEW YEARRRR.
