How to use PayPal Checkout buttons in my order form?

    Hi

In the PayPal integration, there is an option "Use PayPal Checkout Buttons". I've chosen "Yes" but the form still shows the previous submit button I'd set up, and not the PayPal button.

Why is this? I've tried to delete the submit button, hoping a PayPal button might replace it, but no luck.

If I download a PayPal button and upload a button image to replace my Jotform button, crazy things happen to the sizing: the image expands beyond the form and pixellates because it's stretched.

Why doesn't "Use PayPal Checkout Buttons" simply make the PayPal button appear automatically? Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Please be noted that the PayPal buttons will be displayed after selecting any product in the form. The Submit button will be replaced with the PayPal button. If you remove the Submit button on the form, it is not possible to submit the form. If you want to display the PayPal buttons on the form immediately, you may consider adding the PayPal checkout images button URL to the Submit button.

    Hi Kiran

Thanks for getting back. By "after selecting any product in the form", do you mean after I click on a product in the form builder/wizard or after I click on a product on my webpage? None of these change anything. I don't understand what I'm meant to see - the customer will see the submit button change to the PayPal logo after they click on a product??

So instead, I've used a PayPal checkout image as you suggest, using a URL (I'd previously downloaded a PayPal button and uploaded it as the image, which is when I got the resizing and pixellating problem). Using a URL worked perfectly!

In case anyone else reads this, the link to all the buttons is https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/buttons/

It seems that the PayPal Checkout buttons is not working when the product on the form is selected. It should be displaying the PayPal button when a product is selected on the form. Please see one of the old screencasts below:

Let me test it further and get back to you with relevant information. Meanwhile, you may consider adding the following URL to the Submit button image.

    https://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_dg_pay_w_paypal.gif

    Thank you!
