I have integrated my first ever form with JotForms earlier with my Autoresponder (GetResponder). While the e-mail addresses are being added to the campaign, the optins are not being added into Day 0 of the cycle.
After chatting with GetResponse (Arno), see below, I understood that the change needs to be made on the JotForms side by adding a parameter "dayOfCycle": "0"
Please review the communication below. I would request you to kindly add this or advise me how to do it and I will take care of it in my JotForms dashboard.
Currently, I am not able to use the form created with JotForms for the intended purpose.
Please double check the settings in your API script and please make sure you have the option 'add into cycle on day 0' enabled.
Should I check this in the GetResponse dashboard?
Under API, Integrations?Or in the campaign?
It has been working fine until now
No, you would please need to check that in your website settings where you setup the API integration.
The form in question is hosted by JotForms
It only asks for the API key and the list or campaign this should be connected to.
I entered the API key and it said integration successful
There is no possibility of "add to cycle on Day 0"
You may please double check in JotForms or contact their support to figure out if they offer any more settings in the API integration so that contacts can also be added to the autoresponder cycle.
It needs to add the parameter
ok I will contact their support
Where does this parameter need to be added?
Where in JofForms, I mean? Just in case they ask me?
That parameter needs to be added to the API script.
ok I will contact them and provide them this information.
I understand that there is nothing (more) we can do on
the GetResponse side
Correct, there is unfortunately nothing we can adjust in your GetResponse account settings to add those new subscribers to the autoresponder cycle.

I will forward this to our developers to see if this is something that can be added. Since this is a very specific request, it may take some time to be addressed. We will let you know as soon as we have any updates as to the status of this request.

Just as a "data point", here's how the implementation looks like in my website builder (Thrive Themes Landing Page/Light Box):
Please make this available to your developers. This is a rather standard functionality with most lead page type applications. I think JotForms is awesome and the integration possibilities are very diverse. It is, however, the case that this functionality of connecting with the specific day of the campaign does seem to be missing with JotForms.
I am also a bit surprised that this has not been brought up by other clients of JotForm. Glad to be the first one :)
I saw that there is a promotional offer until Jan 10 to subscribe at a discounted price. I was hoping to have clarity by then IF (and not by WHEN) this functionality would be implemented. If it can be implemented, then I would have gone ahead and purchased a subscription while the discount lasts.
No hurry, though - I look forward to receiving any update about what your developers have to say.

Sorry for the delay, but we'd like to inform you that this is now fixed.
By default, contacts will now be added to day zero of the autoresponder cycle.
You may also opt to change the day of cycle by editing your form's GetResponse integration.
Hope you find this helpful.
Kind regards from the JotForm Team!
