Can you use this for a single event?

We are looking to create a jot form for our Tricky Tray. Can we use it for just the single event? Will we have to pay for an entire year? Is there a contract?

Yes, you can. Regardless of your use case, you can use JotForm to build forms.

Will we have to pay for an entire year?

No, you won't have to. The only time you would need to pay or upgrade is if you need more forms, submissions, views, etc. The complete breakdown of limits per plan can be seen on our Pricing Page. Since you mentioned that it's just for a single event, then the Free Plan should suffice. :)

Is there a contract?

You're not bound by any contract. On the same Pricing Page, you would see a section named "Cancel Anytime" that describes the following:

JotForm is a recurring subscription service. You may upgrade or downgrade your service at any time. To change your subscription level, visit your billing page and select your new plan. To shut down your account and delete all of your information, please email support@jotform.com with “Cancel My Account” in the subject line.
