    Hello,

Is there a way to make the email domain (@gmail.com for example) permanent so the person would only need to add the first part of the email?

    Thank you

Yes, you just need to set up a Default Value for the email field.

You may also create 2 text boxes that are shrink. The first field is the "Email Name" and the second is "Email Hosted". After that you can set a default value on the second field.

After that, set the second field in "Read Only Mode".

    Hope that helps. Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for the response. If I do this would the person still get an automatic response to that email address or no because the email now comes from two different fields?

    Thanks again!

What if I wish to have the field prefilled, but editable?  The entire email address would remain a *single* field, but the @gmail.com portion were just prefilled and the field remains editable.

Is there a way to customize what I just described through code that would allow the prefilled portion to fill based on a prior field's content (perhaps @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com)?

Do those above questions make sense?

I'm also interested in the concatenation question that MCCJAY posted...

If that is the case then you need to combine the values and put in another email field using the Update/Calculate Field conditions. This email field will be used as the recipient for the Autoresponder.

I revised the demo form. Please check it again: https://form.jotform.com/70055056658963. You can clone it if you like.

Here are the steps I did:

    1. Insert another "Email" field.

    2. Create a Update/Calculate Field condition wherein if the "Email Name" is filled, then the value of the "Email Name" and "Email Domain" fields will be combined. The result will appear in the "Full Email" field.

    3. After that, you can "Hide" the field by right clicking the field.

    4. Go to the Autoresponder wizard and change the "Recipient Email" to "Full Email".

    Here's the result:

    Hope that helps. Thank you.
