I added PayPal to my form, but when I filled it out to test it, I was never directed to submit a payment. Then when I put it as required, I can't actually check off the box for any items.

Unfortunately, I cannot locate the PayPal integration in your form. I cloned your form and I checked all the form fields. There's no payment field on it. It is possible that you weren't able to integrate it properly.
Please try to add the PayPal integration again and don't forget to save the form after. You just need to drag the PayPal button into the work space so that the payment wizard will appear.
