How to have the field prefilled, but editable?Asked by quikval on January 06, 2017 at 04:58 PM
What if I wish to have the field prefilled, but editable? The entire email address would remain a *single* field, but the @gmail.com portion were just prefilled and the field remains editable.
Is there a way to customize what I just described through code that would allow the prefilled portion to fill based on a prior field's content (perhaps @hotmail.com or @yahoo.com)?
Do those above questions make sense?
I understand that you want to have the email field as a single field to be prefilled and editable. In this case you may use the default value property to display the domain. Please see the screencast below:
Since it is supported by one of the properties of the text field, it is not required to get the code to customize.
Hope this information helps! Let us know if you are referring something different. We will be happy to help.
