Email notifications deleted

    Hi 

    I have been building reports using the email notification system as we had to rearrange the order of the fields.  One of the reports disappeared and so I tried to go into revision history to reload it and now all the email notifications have need deleted!

     

    Can you please help!!!

    Hi Katie,

    You will need to revert to an earlier version of your form to where most of your notifications are still intact. Here's how to revert: https://www.jotform.com/help/294-How-to-view-form-revision-history 

    To make sure, I made a test form. I reverted from no notification to the form state where my notifications are still intact. 

    Unfortunately, email alerts won't show up in the revision list, the revision list only shows changes made on the form fields. But I'll open a feature request for it on a separate thread and forward to our developers. 

    Let us know if that works.

    i tried just going back a few minutes and everything was gone... the time and actions don't seem to reflect what I did during those times.

    Unfortunately, as mentioned, changes on the email alerts won't display in the Revision History logs. 

    Have you tried earlier time? I presume you were reverting to a time where notifications were actually not there?

    If your form has a state where all notifications were still present and intact, then you should still be able to revert on that state. You could try first creating a clone of your current form: https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account. At least for now you have a copy of the recent form state. Now try reverting back to an earlier state to when the form has still the notifications, perhaps a day ago? Note that your form has submissions, I'm not sure if they are test submissions, but please note that if there are form fields deleted, then submission data specific to the form field will also be deleted. 

    Is your form all good last January 6, 2016? If no major change were made after that day, perhaps you can revert to that one instead?
